Almost perfect, but not quite

I would like to start by saying that I have had mixed experiences with the Liberty Air 2s. I have Soundcore Life P2 wireless headphones and the Air 2 are a bit shorter in comparison. Let me start with the good: Battery life: Great! As stated in the description the battery life will not disappoint, in my experience they can easily get through the better part of an 8 hour workday before needing a charge. With the volume between 30 and 50%, I can use it from about 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the battery drops to 20%. (I never let them die completely) Sound: Pretty good. Music, movies and phone calls sound rich, with a good balance of highs, lows and mids. Bass is above average but not punchy, so set your expectations accordingly. Connectivity: good. I can walk a decent distance between the phone and the headphones before the signal drops, maybe 30-40 feet, with obstacles in between. You simply open the case and they connect to your phone instantly; I am very impressed. Now for my mixed/bad experience: Phone calls: A very mixed experience. My issue with clarity and sound quality has never bothered the Liberty Air 2, but the issue is related to stability. Most of the time during a call, the other party couldn't hear me, regardless of the battery level or restarting the headphones. It has become so common that you have to order a replacement. Also, I found that there is a dedicated app for them and I recommend downloading it as a software update was available and so far this issue has been fixed. Touch controls: I don't like it. Like the Life P2 headphones, the Liberty Air 2 have touch controls on the side of each earbud that can be assigned to different tasks via the app. Some options are: pause, play, skip track, volume up, volume down, etc. Additionally, these headphones are case-insensitive as you can turn them off when not in use, which saves battery life and means that you don't have to carry your suitcase around when you're not using it! The problem with touch controls is that they are too sensitive when touched. Simply carrying them in your hand or lightly gripping them for too long will disable them, and that's what happens most of the time. This could be avoided if the controls were actually buttons, as you would have to physically press them instead of touching them. All in all if you want the app these can be good headphones especially for making calls. There's also no noise cancellation.
