Review on Tripp Lite PM6SN1: Commercial-Grade Metal Power Strip with 6 Outlets & 6ft Cord – Reliable Surge Protector by David Garnic

Ideal for add-on parts

There are many surge protectors/splitters out there, but most don't have an easy way to install them. I built an entertainment center and added two of these surge protectors to the back giving me outlets on either side. Here's an easy way to get this working. Make a copy of the back of the surge protector to create a template for the holes. Use an awl or ice pick to mark the spots. The #6 pan head screw is ideal for the slots. Screw it in, leaving about ¼ inch out. Place the holes over the screw heads and insert them into the slots. The surge protector fits well and looks solid.
