After new batteries were installed in the remote, the player worked fine while I became familiar with the remote's functions. I was impressed with the options on offer. My very first professional assignment was photographing food. Because I was trying to slow down the variable speed, it was speeding up instead. And I definitely clicked the (-) button, not the (+) button. I had to restart the device. The next problem was that the device stopped spinning at all and the motor hummed alarmingly. None of the buttons on the remote fixed the problem. I had to restart the device. The remote still doesn't work properly (if at all), and since the player's only interface is the remote, it's useless for reliable use. I am returning the item.
