Cover works well enough to keep you warm. Not suitable for winter driving unless roads are dry and there is no snow, sleet or rain. On your return trip, pack an extra pair of socks and plan to dry your shoes overnight in wet weather. These are very small. The blankets barely fit over my shoes with some grease on my elbows and no shoes. This means I can't configure BOA when they are enabled. The slipcovers are so snug that I don't have to tighten them with the BOA fully open and my feet don't dangle in the trunk. After about a dozen rides, the underside of the cover is already worn out. I use covers for city commuting and have to cut them out at traffic lights. So I schedule them for a season.
