I have bought 3-4 of these water bottles. I like them because they are great for aquarium style hamster cages (glass and plastic walls), they mount above the bottom of the cage leaving more floor space for the hamster and you can visually see the water level. However, there is a downside. They are made of very thin glass, which makes them very fragile and shatters if broken. It won't fix it. You just have to treat them with the utmost care. If kids can handle it, or if you're clumsy yourself, it's best to find another type of bottle. I haven't had any water leakage issues, but I did have some water drainage issues, but that's because I didn't have it. After filling the water inlet hose and sealing it with the plug and water inlet hose, make sure the water fills the water inlet hose by tilting it enough to allow air and water to move. This allows the dosing tube to be completely filled. You can see it's full as it's also made of the same very thin transparent glass. If they could change anything about this irrigation line, it would definitely be that they made it out of a more durable material like thin, clear plastic.
