Review on 🔒 La-Co-11775 LA-CO Plasto-Joint Stik: 1-1/4 oz Plastic Thread Sealant Stick, 250°F Temperature Resistance by Wayne Drakh

Worked well for large (2 inch) threads when installing my pool. Threaded, I used it to install a 20" whole house filter to seal the plastic housing to a 1" threaded brass nipple. So far so good I thought, everything was fine with the crimping. The next morning the first stream started leaking and a month later ALL streams were leaking so I just uninstalled the whole install. This thing creeps in streams and creates leaks over time. Not good. Conclusion: NOT SUITABLE for the metal/plastic combination at my house system pressure (60 to 110 psi).
