I would like to start by saying that the hair dryer I received is 100% authentic. It came with a hologram code and I was able to register it on the ghd website. I received a confirmation email from ghd. The dryer is a little heavy, but not so much that I'm unhappy with it. Very quiet. I can talk or listen to music while blow drying my hair. It works well. I have very thick, coarse hair. Not sure if it reduced my drying time but my hair is very straight after using this hair dryer. I usually have to section and straighten my hair, but not that often after using this blow dryer. I'll quickly run it through the hair straightener and that's all it takes.
