Very unpleasant appearance, but attractive.
I was disappointed when it arrived. It was like a sticky, rusty car bumper, bumps and dots - REVERSE - it was awful. I asked my husband if he could clean it. Well he has. He "ripped off the still-tacky coating with acetone, then repainted all of the metal." Now it looks FANTASTIC. It stands on the living room table like a cast-iron decoration. Please note that purchasing this item may arrive in an unacceptable condition. Thanks to my wonderful husband - I love my NOW. Be careful and aware.
