In use I found the material to be EXTREMELY light and floated easily even when there was no wind in it. It looks like an incredibly thin sheet of plastic that's torn a bit. The flakes also adhere EXTREMELY well to the mold, and being flat-sided flakes the resin can't seep into the tiny pieces. I had pieces of resin that probably had a few layers of flakes in one place, and the flakes that the resin touched came out of the mold, but what was in direct contact with the mold WAS STACKED. It took some effort to remove which I'm afraid is wearing down the white silicone molds I have. To be honest I only used this in my test samples because I don't like it mixing with resin and having the above issues. Although I like how it looks when I can get it right. It resembles the type of hammered metal, but with a change in color.
