GOOD: Handles bumps well and climbs small hills with ease. My lawn is cut short, it rides well on grass and leaves behind. This model takes six AA batteries in the car. I bought Energizer batteries and my 5 year old plays with them for about an hour without draining (a VERY big improvement over other RC trucks that only run for 15 minutes and then plug in for 3 hours). . This truck just keeps going and going. GOOD/BAD (depending on your perspective): The remote control is small. Perfect fit for my tall 5 year old (and I can handle it easily too and I'm 6ft 3in) but it's smaller if that bothers you. He has a brisk walk, which again was perfect. for my 5 year old child. If you want faster, be prepared to spend WAY more. It happens fast enough to keep him interested and entertained. GENERAL: Huge hit for my kid. Has held up well and rechargeable batteries were expensive initially, work very well and let it play much longer than a standard R/C truck. It's not waterproof, but I let him take it out in the 1 inch of snow and play with it. Then I brought it inside and put it next to the heater vent to dry. Goes great next time. Great toy.
