**Updated** For the price this product is ok. But I had some trouble turning it on initially. I did and aligned everything correctly. But a little picky at first. Once you get used to it, it works well. Counterclockwise top latch. So rotating the blades in that direction works best. Turning the blades clockwise can cause the top to loosen, which will also loosen the base and stop the device. Therefore, you need to keep the tank in place. It should only be used in 30 second bursts. Currently my processor is new and seems to be working fine. I made a small batch of banana ice cream and it mixed everything very well. I made it with chocolate strawberry flavor. If you're making very small batches (1-2 servings), this should suit your needs.
