as it's time to replace the water pump on my 2000 Boxster S. The pump I received had a metal impeller and as it turned I felt a little play and a faint click. Not great with an aluminum block engine so I sent it back and got a Pierburg from autogeek. If I had to do it all over again I would get Porsche OEM from Sunset Import, their online parts ordering is now available and their prices are fantastic. I get most of my stuff from Revain but every once in a while I need to take it somewhere else and this pump was one of them. I sent it back and as always, Revain has been great with returns.
