Review on 🔦 TORCHSTAR Recessed Lighting Junction: Certified Brilliance for Every Space by Gregory Flynt

I ordered these without knowing the details of the product. I didn't actually install them in their final locations but wanted to see how the process works. I've added photos of a layout I made using 14-2 Romex wire. I wired it up as if I was putting several on the same circuit. 3/8" plywood pattern with a 6 1/4" hole. They are designed to be easy to install with the right tools. The spring clips hold the bracket securely in this plywood, so they should hold up well in 1/2" thick material. The box of electrical connections has a hinged lid and works hermetically inside the box. Pull the slack through the box, make connections, then pull back the slack, plug in the connections and then tighten the clamps which worked for me. I used 3/8" compression connectors for the 1/2" knockouts that are on the side of the junction box. For the For final installation I will put the incoming and outgoing wire in the same terminal and only open one side/notch I will update this once everything is installed and enabled.
