Very cheap quality good for recessed lights

I installed 34 of these lights to light up a low height house with dimmable very bright LED bulbs. The Tourch star did the job first and was easy to install. But half a year later the first one started blinking. In turn, many other indicators are now blinking and cannot be fully turned on. If this continues at the same pace, I will see that they all go badly and my project will fail. I do not recommend this product for long-term projects.

Very easy to install, no recessed glass required!

Nice bright light and design, I'm sensitive to glare as they are flat so maybe a little dimple would be better for me. I cut the hole with a drywall saw and found an easy way to measure the hole. Just use a standard one gallon paint can and put a screw in the center, attach it to the ceiling and then sketch from the smaller inside edge. Cutting outside the line was tight so I'm sure using an outside brim would work as well. In any case, the color helps visualize where you are placing the light.

Good product. Ease of installation.

I never write reviews but I love these lights.!. especially in old building work, this is only the thickness of the drywall. So if you have any obstacles, drill like a beam. You can still install HVAC etc. The only feedback is that the wire gauge is pathetic, even compared to the 14-2 I also connected. So a bit of dodgy wiring clashing with something so fragile, but that's par for the course even for Blade fans these days. Also, be careful of your fingers when removing these spring clips, it's…

Nice looking product

I ordered these without knowing the details of the product. I didn't actually install them in their final locations but wanted to see how the process works. I've added photos of a layout I made using 14-2 Romex wire. I wired it up as if I was putting several on the same circuit. 3/8" plywood pattern with a 6 1/4" hole. They are designed to be easy to install with the right tools. The spring clips hold the bracket securely in this plywood, so they should hold up well in 1/2" thick material. The…

Good product few errors

I like it very much. I put them in my basement while installing a new false ceiling. There used to be only 4 cans and now there are 12 lamps and it makes the room feel different. no basement. It was also a lot cheaper than making extra cans or Troffer. You should probably buy these. A few minor issues to be aware of: 1. The cable connecting the junction box to the light fixture can seem quite short. If you are upgrading you may need to re-route the 120v wires depending on where exactly the…

Pros
  • 💡Easy Installation: Easy installation can be done in seconds. Simply connect the supplied junction box to the light using the male/female cables and secure it to the ceiling with the spring clip. The recessed case can no longer limit your choices. This IC-tested lamp may come into contact with the ceiling insulation

It's a good choice

I just installed 12 of these bulbs in a circuit for my wife's sewing shop. Haven't done any electrical work for many years. They were installed on the lower floor and the ceiling joists were V-shaped and W-shaped studs (special trusses?) so it was fairly easy to catch the wires. I have seen many questions about which dimmer to use. I've used the one below and so far it hasn't buzzed, flickered or anything. Seems like a good choice. had to get an IN wire and an OUT wire tied to the light driver…
