Probably deserves a 5 but we had to re-glue a part or two. But honestly it has withstood one Great Dane pup and now a second with a bit of wear and tear to show. Easy to use and set up. Nice looking product and we have one between our kitchen and dining room and also between the kitchen and living room. Easily adjustable with handles at top for size adjustment. Much better than units that require you to drill holes in the wall if you can teach your pets not to push them. Our two Great Danes are used to and respect them as barriers. For a while we leaned a chair against it so they wouldn't crowd, now we only use the gate and the dogs respect the boundary. Great product and we have tried several products drilled into walls before and we have returned them all. And enjoyed patching holes and then painting.
