I don't know if the size is right or not. I measured a 26 inch foot and found I could use 3x or 4x as 3x fits 24 to 26 each and 4x fits 26 to 28. I chose 3x. I love these braces. It fits well and is comfortable. I wish I could tell you how to order your size as I'm not sure if the size could be a little larger or not. However, I can tell if you measure between sizes, as I have done with less. Remember that you are buying something that fits your foot and you may need to try on a size. If it doesn't fit, return it for the next size you think fits. Yes, it can be a bit annoying. if you're looking for quick relief from your pain, but trial and error is what we should expect with something like this. Being frustrated and giving 1 or 2 stars for a poor fit is not a good reason to do so unless you really can't find a good fit for a size close to your foot measurement, which I find hard to believe a good product, and anyone who doesn't want to try it.
