I had a SERIOUS outbreak of ichthyophthyriasis in my tropical community aquarium. I was very careful about using chemicals as I have a few scaleless fish in this tank (luckily they weren't harmed). While I was skeptical that an herbal treatment would make a difference, the proof is in my now healthy tank. As said, the outbreak was serious and by the time treatment was started several fish had gone too far. I went further and increased the temperature and added an air stone to increase the oxygen levels in combination with the medicine. When I administered the last dose, none of my fish showed signs of ichthyosis. I will definitely add it to my arsenal.
