The audio quality is "heaven and earth" worse than on the Flip 4. This fact negates any potential benefits. Somebody puts in writing that bassheads should listen to Flip 5. Indeed, they do, but their presence blocks out the rest of the ambient noise. I made an online purchase and then took it back to a popular retailer. If you still didn't pass, quit, etc., an equalizer (which you could get from the Playmarket or use with the in-built player/radio, if available) might fix the bass issue.
