It is wonderful. They were quite difficult to put on and take off for the first few weeks (they are still a problem). For the first few weeks I stuck a few cans of soup in to try and stretch them. The first couple of socks had the toe of the boots rubbing against my shin as well, but I bandaged my foot and kept wearing them and it was worth it. Now that I've got over the initial bumps, this is one of the best running shoes I've ever owned. I wear them all day and never felt like I can't wait to take my shoes off. I walk dogs in it over rough terrain, I wear it in the city, around the house. They still look great and most importantly my feet are very happy. The cost and difficulty of hacking them is well worth it.
