Review on 🌡️ Auto Meter 8349 Electric Transmission Temperature Gauge for Chevy - Factory Match by Andy Quade

After the transmission blew up on my last truck I decided to put one of these on my new truck as insurance to make sure I have it not overheating on the freeway (I drive from Connecticut to Maine regularly). I used a GM strut sensor mount and installed it myself. The included feeler gauge fitted perfectly into the test hole on the side of my 4L60E truck (although very difficult to reach with large hands), and overall the installation took about two hours from start to finish. It works great and matches the stock dash perfectly. My only concern is that the bulb is internal and not removable, so it doesn't match the blue LEDs I have in my dash. Other than that, it's a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone doing long road trips with big tires or towing a trailer, or just someone like me who worries about their cars.
