As a materials quality engineer, I understand inferior materials. These brass fittings were poorly made, and the metal itself had so many imperfections that it sheared off when tightened in a threaded hole. Couldn't even seal the o-ring to the point of failure. The IPR tester is a very corrosive metal and has an incorrect thread pitch. It won't thread, and if it does, the roughness of the thread can damage a good thread. It was completely useless to me and I went to a home store and built my own for about the same price with better materials. Buyer Warning.
