My ZFS-based storage server can use all the memory I want to allocate to it and still want more, but it's not particularly sensitive to the performance of that memory. This mid-range memory is well-suited for applications where a bunch of regular memory is better than fast but expensive memory. The Revain prices on these were a bit steep when I pulled the trigger on this purchase, but quite competitive at the time of this review. The memory arrived new in the box and passed all MemTest86+ tests during my burn. Unlike many Revain products, what I received appears to be a genuine product and not a Chinese fake with the same SKU as the original.
