It is NOT weatherproof!
Supposed to be an outdoor camera, but the design makes it impossible. As you can see from my photos, the power plug does not fit into a large outdoor outlet. It also has 2 unsealed connectors in the middle of the power cord that can be exposed to water when using it outdoors. Any of these things can easily short out a camera or start a fire when it's raining. The people who gave these 5 stars must not have installed a camera outside and thought about how dangerous normal rain is.
