If you are looking for a ring that will make everyone believe it is a diamond then this is NOT what you are looking for . It's a cheap cz and it looks like it too. It's a little tricky to capture its "fake" on camera, and I suppose that explains all the flattering photos in the review section. What really sets it apart are the large machine-cut facets, lack of color and dazzling brilliance. It won't pass as real. I placed it next to the oval diamond for photo comparison. I didn't buy this ring because I expected it to look like a diamond. My comments above have nothing to do with the 3 star rating, but it seems to have been an important point for the reviewers. Here are my issues with this ring: The item title says 2.17 carats. If you're expecting a cz to look the size of a 2 carat diamond, you'll be disappointed. You need to look at an item's specifications before realizing that you are actually receiving a 7mm, 1.25 carat stone. I found that misleading. The decor is so poorly done that you get the best bang for your buck at your local Claires. The photo I added speaks for itself. Finally the ring arrived in a clear plastic bag. Not the cloth pouch it is pictured with. As positive; The band is thin and delicate and true to size. You get what you pay for, but there are much better cz's out there.
