About me first. I am 40 years old. I used to have great hair, but I have Hashimoto and now I struggle with hair breakage and hair loss. I've been highlighting my hair since I was 12 years old. So the ends can be a little brittle combined with an autoimmune issue. I have never bought salon products because I am so cheap. My stylist gave me the Spotlight Circle for Christmas and I loved it. I use it and my hair was so soft. I kept asking my husband to touch my hair. I wash my hair with these products every other day. And on the second day it looks great. I don't have to braid my bangs because the top is thick. It looks so good on the second day. So I decided to try the Renaissance Circle. When applied, it smells strong at first. But after the first rinse I like the smell. On the second day I smell it very much. I think it's a nice clean, woody scent. I like it, but I think to each his own. I get 5-6 washes from each bag. I think I use a little under a quarter size. Spotlight Circle has such amazing density and it just seems easier to apply, but I have to say I love the Renaissance end results more! I suggest you try both and see what you like best, but most importantly: TRY THIS! I was blown away by this line of products and have become a regular customer of tresemme.
