We recently saw the news on the local news about the danger of lint accumulation in electric dryers. Without cleaning mine (other than emptying the lint compartment after each load), I checked mine with a flashlight and was shocked to see how much lint was in my dryer. So I ordered one of these attachments for my vacuum cleaner and one of the cleaning brushes - Ettore 48400 Dryer Vent Cleaning Brush. The hose attachment worked as expected. It fit the end of my small vacuum and was long enough to reach quite deep into my lint catcher cavity. After switching between brushing and vacuuming, there was no visible lint in my car. I plan to make this a scheduled event that will happen several times a year. I am very happy with my purchase.
