So I've been wearing this for a few months now and I thought if I used this product on my hair or my daughter's hair it would give it a nice shine but it's not necessarily the case So. . It has a pleasant smell that I don't find strong. It reminds me of visiting the craft store and has such a "clever" smell. It's hard to describe the smell but it reminds me of that and for me it's a bit subtle. Now, as for the glitter on the hair, it sticks to your hands more than the hair and I've tried using smaller pea sized fingers and rubbing it into my daughter's hair and it gets sticky in places. difficult to align. This was the first time I bought it and it will probably be the last. My daughter loves the smell and has had compliments from her teachers that her hair smells good. There are many reviews on it, so for $6 it's not very expensive to try.
