Good. If you take your time, the spam will come out nice and smooth. Please note this is for slicing, not chopping. Push it down carefully, don't slam it down like a guillotine. So-so - the cutting lines on this model are spaced about 9mm apart, that's just over 7/16 of an inch, so the discs are a bit thick for my liking. So of course you can put up with it. The loaf of "dinner meat" will try to slip out when the wires are squeezed, but that's easy enough to deal with. Move sideways enough to keep them from falling into the slots provided if you're not careful. You have to be careful where you go. I'll buy it instead.
