I did a lot of research before deciding to buy this laptop. In fact, the laptop had minor factory issues like fan noise or a flickering screen, but these were fixed by removing the killer drives and upgrading the HD graphics drive. Since then, the laptop has been very quiet on optimized performance settings. I am blown away by the start up time and despite having 9 tabs of programming software open on the web on another monitor alongside working on 3 excel workbooks, this beast runs lightning fast and definitely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for personal/business use.
