Review on 🦎 Carolina Custom Cages Extra-Tall Large Terrarium: Easy Assembly, 36Lx18Dx36H by Lisa Pruitt

I was planning to get an Exo Terra cage because I like glass and wanted it to be a show tank. When I placed a special order at my pet store I was told it could take 2 weeks to a month for delivery. When I called 2 weeks later they said there was a shortage of exos and it could take up to 6 months. The size I wanted was out of stock ANYWHERE. I came across her and Reptizoo on Revain. The base of the Reptizoo was about 4 inches from the door so it wasn't possible as I wanted to make a bioactive product. Then I found this one. I buy Carolina Custom Cages and cleaning supplies but ship very expensive glass panes across the country? I was very hesitant. Especially since it was more money than the Exo and Reptizoo tanks and I still had to build it myself. I contacted Carolina Custom Cages to see what to do if they arrive broken. This damn thing weighs about 60 pounds. They told me to send it back and they would send a new one and that UPS could pick it up at my house if the weight was an issue. That was pretty much the response I was expecting but they got back to me right away and the customer service was great so I went with it. Everything arrived safely and was packaged very well. . I confess that the instructions didn't make much sense to me. They should be clearer, but I found a YouTube video and there's not much to do other than screw in the standoffs, reattach the panels, and unscrew the top. I expected disaster, but it turned out amazing. I can't wait to set this up for my Green Tree Skink colony. My only criticism is the door. I hate the lock and that jerk with the key. There are no handles so I believe you have to suck and pull on one of the cups to open it. I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea, but Petsmart's NatGeo tanks were set up that way too. I plan to install some fancy handles and locks for it myself. Edit: added photos
