We got this swing as a baby shower gift from out sitter. It doesn't look like much, and it's not one of the super expensive swings, with all the unnecessary gadgets and settings that you'll never use. It does everything we need and it. is. awesome.Our girl loves it so much we took the original swing to the sitter to stay permanently and bought a second one for our home.There are several speeds, but the fastest works the best. There are also two volume settings. One button on the front controls how long you want it to swing (15, 30 or 45 minutes). The second controls the music (off, soft, loud).It was very easy to put together-didn't even need the instructions.It's compact, which works well in our small space home.It's battery operated. FYI, we've been using it for about two months and haven't had to replace the batteries yet.
