I hired a contractor to install my cabinets and countertops and they provided me with all the parts and the sink. Huge d'o! I bought this part to replace the connector between the dishwasher drain hose and the sink. I chose it because the clamps are tightened with screws - the user can tighten or loosen them as needed. It was very easy to install. You can trim it to fit different tube sizes - I had to trim it down one size. Secure the connector to the disposal with a zip tie, trim and trim the other end to match the dishwasher hose, then use the second zip tie to secure the connector to the dishwasher hose, check for leaks and you're good to go. ! I had a small leak after my first try, but I was able to fix it by repositioning the dishwasher hose and tightening the clamp. If I can do it, you can do it!
