Review on Tough 1200D Snuggit Turnout Hunter Horses ... Horse Blankets & Sheets by Tiffany Williams

I had high hopes for this duvet as it is well made. The 1200D fabric feels very durable and the front closures are great so you only have to adjust the length of the straps once. The shoulders rise nice and high to provide a good fit for my wide OTTB chest. But the "Snuggit" feature for the neck is completely useless unless you're trying to tighten the top (you can't loosen it to make the neck hole bigger). in heavy rain he was soaked to the skin up to his chest and shoulders. Most of the time the front half of his body was wet under the covers. My other horse wears a different blanket and doesn't even get half wet in those spots. Maybe it just didn't fit him right, but I couldn't make any adjustments to improve it. On top of that, we've been using it for less than a month and the metal parts are already starting to rust. I would not recommend this rug and will be purchasing another brand to replace and keep my horse dry.
