I bought this for my outdoor pool. This makes sense since it's "waterproof" and wireless. It should be pretty easy to just leave and forget. noisy. But the problem is that my TV speakers are louder than the speaker and it's 16 feet from my spa. The second problem is that it was raining one night and when I tried to use the speaker it wouldn't turn on. Somehow water got into the speaker. I can understand the problem, if the speaker falls into water but is exposed to rain, based on the description I would expect the device to withstand it. To the company's credit, they replaced my device, but I'm keeping it for now. Undercover when not in use to protect it from the elements and if I do splatter it I rush to dry it immediately for fear it won't work. The last issue I encountered is the speaker grilles. Rust. I'm not sure why they used a rusty material for the supposedly waterproof device, except for the cheaper parts, but once the water touches them you'd better dry it quickly or rust spots will appear on its exterior.
