Review on 🚲 Thule RideAlong Child Bicycle Seat by Epickson Palma

I bought this seat for my 2.5 year old son who is quite tall. He and his little sister rode in the trailer before buying the seat. My husband installed the seat on my Surly Long Haul Trucker steel touring bike. My son liked to sit high and had a better view. Excited, he showed what he saw. We did about 15+ miles with the seat. Riding a bike with a seat takes a little getting used to, and the altered gravity feels like riding with big saddlebags. The seat has good rebound, which makes it comfortable for the child. I think that same jump threw me a bit off balance at times, but I guess it's just a feeling - I've never once lost control of my bike. My son is around 30-35 pounds so he's a heavy kid so I was sweating even on small hills in my grandmother's clothes. It's definitely a good idea to have gearing that's as simple as it is on touring bikes.
