truck owner? Got it. I've had several of these over the last year and just added another to my arsenal? Why? A slat is good for everyday use, next to the tailgate to prevent groceries and cargo from floating around the truck bed. But mainly I bought it because I was driving my 4WD Toyota Tundra off-road and on multi-day expeditions I need something (a) to securely mount the wood and water tanks under the crossbox; (b) an ice box locked at the bedside; and (c) luggage bags are secured. I've taken four-day trips to Death Valley with these bad guys, and between the dust and the washboard vibrations, you'd think they'd have rumbled right away. nope; not even. This is a great product and for me a must have for every pickup truck.
