I find the LitterLocker II holds odors well. I have four cats and two toilets at home. Love the convenience of not having to change the pouch every time I need to empty something and having space to store the spatula is great. The footprint is small, which is great for small spaces (or if you need two because you're a crazy cat lady!). The cons of this product start with the flimsy build. I already had a break with me within a few months of purchasing it. The scoop holder is handy and I appreciate that it slides out so it can be cleaned, but it comes out too easily. Second, there is a small problem with bets. When the "Pouch" material is depleted, a black bar will appear on the side of the pouch to alert you. The problem is that sometimes it seems like you have enough bags left to fill one last time, but when you fill the bag halfway, it suddenly pops out of the retaining ring. Of course, this always happens when you have rubbish in the storage space, so as soon as you pull the handle to put it in the bag, everything falls apart. Regardless, I will continue to use this product because it does what it does. He says he keeps my house from smelling like I have four cats!
