Hello! Firstly, I'm a bus driver and I like the long and rectangular shape because that's what our buses use. My point is that this long blind spot mirror works for me because I can see a small portion of my van/car and my lanes. Here's how I set mine up because it's really important for me to see it with my own eyes and use that FEEDBACK to make a quick judgement. laterally adjustable. So here's what I did. I bought my own 3M tape, cut about 8 small pieces and taped them to the end where the original 3M tape already existed. And then I just plugged 1 piece to the other end. So the right end of the mirror sticks out, allowing you to see more blind spots. First you need to test it to see how many pieces of tape you will cut. There is no movement or vibration in my blind spot. The only thing I noticed when looking in the daytime blind spot mirror is that the cars are smaller than I thought, but in my own eyes it's not that bad because you just look at it for a while. Didn't test this last night but will comment again when I have.
