Overall the soundbar was a great purchase. Overall I was very happy with the unit and the sound it produced. I bought this soundbar to fix the volume issues I was having with my living room TV. Hooking it up was very easy and I was happy that the soundbar came with several types of cables, including an optical cable and an AV coax kit (red and white male cables). I used an optical cable and connected the soundbar as suggested in the instructions. However, some smart TVs require you to go into the audio settings and mute the TV so that the system doesn't have trouble playing audio through the TV or soundbar. TV, but eventually I was able to connect the soundbar via Bluetooth, so I could only use one remote control. However, without Bluetooth, you'll have to use the soundbar's remote for sound and the other for channels. Sound Modes: I like the different sound modes and found them really important. My main problem was that the background music for TV shows and movies would interrupt the voices and I would keep changing the volume. Sound modes allowed me to choose voices or music, mute background music, and refine voices. It made a big difference and I'm very happy about it. The sound quality was excellent and loud enough for me at less than half the volume. If you can get by without using two remotes, it's best not to mess around with Bluetooth and use an optical one for connection and sound. This product is highly recommended!
