There is no uniformity in how difficult/easy to open them. I have one that takes the effort of my whole hand to open. I won't wear this, I don't want to hurt myself. Some of them open slightly, again no sequence. Luckily the ones that don't have a clip are easy to adjust, some are quite small but I didn't know *which* would be small as I knew they were different sizes. Common center rings
