I installed this in my HP Elite Book 755 myself (with no formal computer skills behind me). However, I have to say that my friend did a great job in telling me what to buy and where to put it. After that I took it from there. Once you're sure it's the right ram and general space to place it was pretty easy to craft. After some use my friend tested it to make sure it 'really' worked, I had many websites open, I watched Netflix in 4 different browsers to test performance and everything seemed fine.
