Like Wired Headphones on Your Cell Phone? A USB headset with 8ft wired 7.1 surround sound headphones may be the answer you've been looking for for VOIP and PC conferencing. I measured the distance from the USB tip to the headphones, it's 93.5 inches. It's 8 feet (not the advertised 8.2). And I'm generously considering the USB adapter. The extra tips come in a ziplock bag, great job, I'm amazed how many headphones don't. The cable itself is smooth and feels neither soft nor hard. The body is black with carbon fiber like the outside. I had to pack spare tips and a full headset in the bag, which is a little tight but fits perfectly in a laptop backpack. The distance from the neck or cable plug to the Y-junction to the headphones is 12 inches. The microphone and buttons are under the letter y, not left or right. And the buds are not labeled L/R. but somehow designed to fit snugly in only one way. By the way, this microphone and volume button is a slider that has nothing to do with the volume on your PC. You can set it to maximum on the PC and turn down the volume on the headset controller until you need it. Very beautiful. When connected to a windows laptop the device shows up as "USB PnP Sound Device" and be careful if you wear it in your ear they go to 100 and are very loud (if your slider on the cable is set to maximum)! The music sounded great and Doom Eternal had great directional sound. Not sure if 7.1 will continue testing or maybe play some HDR 4k movies next time, but for now they're in for the win. The price is insanely low if that's the bump you're looking for (you just have to correct the length marketing statement). Not enough to dock a star. 5 it!
