As a first time smartwatch buyer I was concerned as I am clumsy and often wander around corners and my hand often gets stuck in the wall. So my normal watch gets a lot of scratches. It was a great decision. It was easy to use. No blisters. This does not affect the sensitivity of the touchscreen. Or brightness or color. I was expecting it to be badly scratched considering the number of times I've bumped into things over the past 2 months, but I only have one scratch on the edge. The material appears to be resistant to roughness. I tried peeling off one side to see how difficult it would be to take it off and I think it will be easy to take it off and put on a new one when the time comes.
