IQ Shield LiquidSkin Screen Protector for Garmin Vivoactive 4s (40mm) - 6 Pack, Anti-Bubble Clear Film Review

I got my Garmin Vivoactive in December or January and ordered it as a face shield - I'm still using the first one (I think there are 6 in the box)! Although it's a little dented and has a few white scuffs, I know the dial itself is protected. I'm so glad there was more than one in the box, although I haven't had to put a new one on yet!

I have a set of 6 covers for my new Garmin Vivoactive watch. I've had the shield for a few months now and have noticed a few scratches on the shield and a tear on the rim. At first I thought my watch's display was damaged. I removed the shield and the dial was still perfect. It really protected. Put in a new shield, it's like new. I am very happy that I have these protectors. This saved my watchface.

Very easy to install. I have a Garmin vivoactive 4s and it fits like a dream! I installed it and put it back on my wrist within 3 minutes. You have the option to watch a video prior to installation, but I only followed the written instructions! I thought with six of them if I don't get it with written instructions I'll watch an instruction video: but I don't need it. As I said, fits like a dream and can't even see it!

I put this screen protector on my Vivoactive 4S and I was very satisfied. You can't tell there's a screen protector unless you're specifically looking for bezels. The touchscreen functions are just as responsive as before the protection was attached. Application was very easy with no bubbles. It takes time to stick to the watch face, so plan to apply it when you don't need to wear your watch. I applied mine in the evening and left it on overnight.

*Application: When using the 'spray and apply' technique it is quite difficult to squeeze all the water out of such a small surface without causing the tread to slip. If you apply it without a spray it's a little better but leaves a lot of streaks and be careful not to touch the sticky side or you'll spoil it. Garmin replaced my Lemon Vivoactive 3 Music with 4s. I've used the IQ Shield on both units and while they were fine, they were always finicky about getting the edges right, which was more of a Garmin design issue than a profile. The ones for 4s settled right the first time and adhered perfectly after the step of the squeegee. As a first time smartwatch buyer I was concerned as I am clumsy and often wander around corners and my hand often gets stuck in the wall. So my normal watch gets a lot of scratches. I wasted three of the films from the kit (actually "stickers") by sticking them on the watch. Any flexing of the decal during application will leave a line on the film. The wet installation method makes the installation easier than trying dry, but the squeegee will also leave lines and the liquid will cause smudges or stains under the decal, preventing it from applying clearly.
