They work great. You must be in the back seat with a direct line of sight to the television. First I tried to get them to work while sitting in the front seat and it didn't work there. My 4 year old can manage them on her own after we showed her how they work. We've had them for about 4 months now and their only complaint is that they don't get loud enough to completely drown out their parents who are enjoying adult entertainment and music in the front seat. They work in our 2016 Honda Pilot Touring.
