We used them for the kids in the car on the way home from holiday. Too big for my 3 year old but he managed. No problems at all - easy to use. Connects automatically once we put the batteries in and ship back. I can't comment on the battery life as we haven't used it since. Too bad they came in a suitcase or similar for fear of breaking them.

These things don't produce the signature sound quality but for the price I had to try them. After many 9 hour trips I've memorized the scripts of The Lorax and How to Train Your Dragon. I can't believe I didn't buy them sooner, I actually spoke to my wife and listened to my music on the last trip. No pairing required, they just turn on and sync seamlessly with my 2007 Odyssey. I use it until it breaks and then I buy more.

They work great. You must be in the back seat with a direct line of sight to the television. First I tried to get them to work while sitting in the front seat and it didn't work there. Bought for use in Honda Odyssey Van so 2 more kids have headphones and stop fighting. Good price but hard to work for small kids (3/4 years old). The switch will turn on 2 different frequencies, to select the correct one the switch indicator should be "red" (usually green is the working color). I have a 2018 Honda Odyssey and they worked great! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that the compartment that the batteries fit in is pretty flimsy and when I first tried to open it the little plastic clips broke so the door won't open now close.
