To be honest it still sounded better than these when they actually worked. I adjusted the equalizer but the quality of the mids and highs just isn't there. However, it wasn't enough for me to return it. Otherwise, the satellite speakers take up little space, which was pretty hard to find. Everything feels solid except for the felt grilles on the satellite speakers, which are just enough to deflect light contact. If someone falls headfirst onto something sharp, forget it, it's going to snap. If that's not a problem, then the build quality is otherwise fine. Edit: The left speaker started buzzing so loud a month after the warranty expired that I had to throw the kit away.
