I was a bit hesitant to buy such a hard brush. However, I admit that I like it. The bristles are still not broken which is a big problem as my hair can get quite frizzy. Many of my brushes end up in the trash because the bristles break off. The shape of the brush took some getting used to, but once I installed the system I found it much better than the straight brushes. When I brush, I hold the top part of the hair and fold the rest in my hand. Then comb through the length. The curved shape fits my arm well, making it much easier to comb the hair I've thrown over it. Then I let go of my hair and just brush as usual. The curvature of the brush suits my scalp too well and I feel great brushing it. Getting two for this price is great value so I highly recommend these brushes.
