I have Raynaud and find it difficult to warm my toes on a motorcycle when the temperature drops below 45 degrees and my speed exceeds 45mph. I installed heated grips which helped, but I needed more insulation on the back of my hand. I decided to try snowmobile gloves and chose the 509s for their 1:4 insulation ratio on the palms and back. Tested them today at 70mph and under 32 degrees. My fingertips are still a little cold, but not in the way they hurt with gloves. They are also incredibly flexible and are perfect for motorcycle grips. Complete success for me.
