Strong chemical smell

I bought this because I LOVE the smell of vanilla. But it has a strong chemical aftertaste or aftertaste I think. Smells just like the pool. Like the smell of chlorine. I don't have a strong nose at all. I'm not sensitive to smells and no perfume bothers me, so even if I smell an unpleasant smell, it's bad!
